Yutaka Take (武 豊, Yutaka Take) is one of the supporting characters in the Umamusume: Pretty Derby.

Etymology[]
- The name Yutaka means "abundant, plenty, lush" (豊).
- Yutaka's surname Take means "military, martial" (武).

- He appeared in a TV commercial for the mobile game in 2018.
- In 2022, Yutaka appeared in another mobile game TV commercial, this time wearing the Kitasan Black racing silk, and is depicted training Kitasan Black, whom he once rode on.
Real Life[]
Yutaka Take is a legendary jockey who began his riding career at the end of the Showa era in 1987. Among other honors and awards, he has won the JRA award for Best Jockey for races won 18 times, and Grand Prize Jockey 9 times. He also holds the record for the number of Japan Cup wins for a jockey with five.
- He rode on about a half of all horses appearing in Umamusume.
- His father Kunihiko Take was also a jockey, and became a trainer. Bamboo Memory was one of the horses that Kunihiko trained, and Yutaka rode on. Of the horses represented in Umamusume, Yutaka rode Bamboo Memory in more races than any other horse in his career.
- In 2021, He won the Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes on Do Deuce. The rest central G1 he hasn't won ever is only Hopeful Stakes.
- Meanwhile, he won all local Jpn1s (until 2023).
