I’ve gotten more confidence in myself! I’m going to raise the bar now that I’m in the city!
―Yukino Bijin

Yukino Bijin is a character in Umamusume: Pretty Derby.

Profile[]

A rustic bishoujo who came to Tokyo from far in the countryside. With a resilient heart, she's a hard worker who perseveres to follow through on everything no matter what. Though she can speak standard Japanese, sometimes her hometown dialect slips out. She's determined to make her debut in the Twinkle Series no matter what in order to benefit her hometown!

Appearance[]

Yukino Bijin is a horse girl who has short chestnut brown hair with a crown braid as well as brown eyes. She wears a hairband and white ear covers, the left ear also having pink lace around the base.

Yukino Bijin is evidently dressed more for ice skating more than running in her original outfit, wearing a marine blue duffel coat, a blue short pleated skirt, a scarf, mismatched mittens and most importantly, ice skates in place of shoes. However this is considerably changed for a more practical racing outfit in the game.

Her competition outfit in the game has a "Snow Country" theme, featuring a double-breasted pleated dress with a floating collar and alpine motifs, a snowflake choker and matching boots. The lace around her ear is now red.

Real Life[]

Most impressive was when she was at Oaks. Tomio Yasuda jockey, who rode on Yukino Bijin, went around the paddock, smiling all the time.
Fans cheered the duo, the girl with guts who came from Tohoku and veteran jockey who couldn't hide the joy he could try the Classic with her.
Actually Yukino Bijin couldn't win any G1s, however, it might be happier for racehorses to be loved so, and answer their expectations with doing their very best, than to win.
