Sweep Tosho (スイープトウショウ Suiipu Tosho) is a character in Uma Musume: Pretty Derby.
Profile[]
A horse girl who is a self-styled witch. She’s quite stubborn, almost never listens to coaching, and crosses her arms when she doesn’t get her way. Sometimes she’ll even stay that way for 30 minutes without moving. She called herself “Mahou Shoujo Sweepy” and believes she will be able to use magic when she win a race. She thinks of trainers as her magical familiars.
Appearance[]
Sweep Tosho has long, brown hair in twintails with hair rings. As well as purple eyes with a witch hat, which she wears all the time (except in her casual attire)
Her competition outfit consists of a black robe, with a red shirt underneath and necktie as well as a belt. She wears thigh boots as well as white gloves.

Sweep Tosho is a racehorse in the middle of 2000s. She has an amazing finishing stride enough to win Takarazuka Kinen, though she is so stubborn and hated training or entering the starting gate.
- Tosho Farm puts their crown at the top if the horse is male, and bottom if it is female.
- Her grandmother Samantha Tosho was named after American sitcom Bewitched. and Samantha's daughter named Tabatha Tosho, too. Sweep was named after his father, though, it reminds a magical broom.
- She won 2005 Takarazuka Kinen for the first time in 38 years as a mare. She was one of the pioneer mares strong enough to defeat sires.
- In 2006 Arima Kinen, She refused entering the gate for a few minutes. As a result, she was aired the longest of all horses there, despite it was Deep Impact's last run.
- Fans call her a tsundere. In Niconico Encyclopedia article, both real-life and Uma Musume ones are in the list.
- Her last crop is also one of Deep Impact's. He was sold for 220 million yen, and named Sweep Hours.
- She is one of representative horses Kenichi Ikezoe rode on. He is good at driving ill-tempered horses, such as Orfevre, her, or Meikei Yell.
- When Sweep Tosho was released in Uma Musume, Ikezoe took a message on his twitter.
