Smart Falcon is a character in Umamusume: Pretty Derby.

A twinkling, cute, chestnut-haired, self-proclaimed “umadol” (Uma Musume + Idol). She’s exceedingly adorable, and undoubtedly has the cheery demeanor of an idol, though when it comes to the reason for her career she’s unbelievably motivated. She has a dreamlike aura about her. Day and night she dreams of being a top “umadol,” and devotes special training just for practicing her smile and cute, moe poses in the mirror. Her forte is her superb evasion skills on dirt and sand racetracks. Due to having been at the bottom rank of her local series for a long period of time, she’s actually gained a quite a bit of experience through hard work.

Smart Falcon is a small horse girl with light brown hair, with her hairstyle put into two small twintails held by a pink/purple checkered head ribbon. On the left side of her hair are three bows, each being purple, cream, and pink colored respectively from top to bottom. She also has yellow eyes.

Real Life[]
Smart Falcon is a racehorse in the middle of 2000s. He won nineteen dirt grade races, including six G1/Jpn1[Note 1]s. Although he belonged to JRA, he traveled many local racecourses and never ran at JRA dirt G1s. People called him "Silence Suzuka on the sand".
- When he was three years old, he could not win any G1/Jpn1 races. He ran only at local Jpn2/3 races, so fans call him a barnstormer. Horse girl Falcon's character comes from the fact.
- It is still a secret why he never ran at JRA dirt G1s, such as February Stakes or Japan Cup Dirt[Note 2].
