Mr. C.B. is a character in Umamusume: Pretty Derby.

Profile[]

A horse girl who loves the free world of racing. The unbounded ambiance she exudes gives her a mysterious charm. At first glance, she appears to be free-spirited, but it's because she's stubborn and refuses to do anything she doesn't agree with. Surprisingly, she may be a bit clumsier than most other horse girls.

Mr. C.B. has long brown hair that is curled outward on the sides, and wears a white mini hat with a "CB" badge on her head. Her height is on the taller side for a horse girl, but her tall head makes her seem taller than she is. She has cyan eyes.

  • She doesn't belong to any dormitory, despite real-life counterpart belonged to Miho Training Center.

Mr. C.B. is a racehorse in the 1980s. He is the third Triple Crown winner in Japan, for the first time in maru-chichi[Note 2]. He was told as the most beloved Triple Crown horse ever.

  • C.B. stands for Chigira Bokujo (Farm).
  • The episodes when Mr. C.B. was born are told as an elopement of classmates.
    • His parents ran together at the same maiden race.
    • His father Tosho Boy belonged to Hidaka Horse Breeder's Association as a stallion. The assosiation allowed to breed only by members. Boy's farm leader Tokunaga had Boy mate C. B. Queen on his own judgment. He was so scolded until Mr. C.B. won the Triple Crown.
    • Thanks to Mr. C.B., Tosho Boy became popular as a studhorse, enough to be called "the Savior Boy".
  • At Kikka Sho, He accelerated at the posterior half of the backstretch in Kyoto Racecourse. It is an uphill, so it is theory to run slowly.
    • In 2012 Kikka, Gold Ship did so and won, just like the TV commercial above said.
  • In 1984, Symboli Rudolf won the Triple Crown. Both Triple Crown winners fought three times, but he never won.
