Matikanefukukitaru (マチカネフクキタル, Machikane Fuku Kitaru) is a character in Umamusume: Pretty Derby.
Profile[]
A fortune-telling fanatic and lover of the supernatural, she's content to leave the outcomes of races and many other things up to luck. If she's not divining for her own sake, then she's divining for someone else's. She places an immense faith in a revelation from a certain god stating that as long as she keeps running, the way forward will open up before her. The name of the cat shaped bag that she carries is "Miss Nya."
Appearance[]
Matikanefukukitaru is an umamusume who has short orange to brown flipped hair and brown to amber eyes with constant starry eyes. She wears a daruma hair ornament on her left temple and a clover hair ornament on her right. She also wears a single ear cover on her right ear.
Her racing outfit consists primarily of a relatively simple white, blue and red serafuku. It has a bagua motif on the back of the sailor collar, has open shoulders and is decorated with small bows on the sleeves. Like all umamusume, she wears black bike shorts under her skirt, but her pair is somewhat longer and often visible.
She also wears a belt with ema dangling from it, one saying "Great Luck" and another saying "Assured Victory". On her back is a backpack shaped like a maneki-neko, itself wearing several amulets on it's collar. She wears ribbon-trimmed thigh-high stockings with alternating red and blue trim. For footwear, her shoes are simple penny loafers. She can also be seen holding a crystal ball.
Her other racing outfit, dubbed as "Full Armor" is an orange dress with various charms, a small handbag with chick image in it as well as wearing a orange beret and a bag with more charms placed as a keychain.

- In those days, Kobe Shimbun Hai was held in September and Kyoto was done in October. Today Kobe Shimbun Hai is held in May, so the requirement differs from then.[Note 1]
