Fine Motion (ファインモーション, Fain Mooshon) is a character in Uma Musume: Pretty Derby.
Profile[]
Fine Motion is an international student, hailing from Ireland. A cheerful, polite and curious young lady, she used to live quite a sheltered life before moving to Japan to train and debut in the Twinkle Series. Since she has never been abroad before, she wants to explore everything Japan and racing has to offer and treats everything like a new experience. She adores the simplest things in life and she wants to make lots of memories at Tracen Academy.
She is a young lady.... actually, she's rumoured to be a princess, as her status in the world is so high, the Mejiros are unable to compare. In the game, it is hinted that she is a member of the Irish royal family, being treated like royalty and regarded as "Her Highness". She is guarded by a full-time SP horse girl, who maintains her safety 24/7. Fine Motion once mentions that her home is bigger than Tracen Academy, so big that she often gets lost in it.
Her friends include the ever-so-unpredictable Air Shakur, who she frequently goes to ramen restaurants with, and her roommate Air Groove, who is concerned about her naivety. It seems that Fine Motion's older sister, who she adores and refers to as "the beautiful princess", seems to really like Air Groove.
Appearance[]
Fine Motion is a horse girl who has brown hair of indeterminate length tied up in a bun with a red-and-white ribbon, plus a white fringe in front. Also has light green eyes (sometimes depicted as a shade of yellow).
Unlike all other horse girls, Fine Motion has completely symmetrical ear/hair decs. These consist of four clover-shaped hair ornaments (three-leaved clovers, each colored in red and outlined in green) arranged in two identical pairs on top of her head, with one pair of clovers each in front of both her left and right ears. She has yellow eyes.

- She wears hair ornaments on her both ears. Since Cygames had discussions with horse owners during production, it may have something with the rumors below.

Fine Motion is a racehorse in the early 2000s. She won Shuka Sho and Queen Elizabeth II Cup with no defeat.
- She was imported from Ireland as a future broodmare. After she retired, she mated King Kamehameha but she didn't get pregnant how many times she did. Her vet found she was impossible to get pregnant innately, so she retired a broodmare, and now she lives in Fushikida Farm as a merit horse.
- The official announce is only "chromosome error". Androgyny is nothing but a rumor.
- Her half-brother is Pilsudski. He has fought with Air Groove at 1997 Japan Cup.
